So how do you do it? How do you truly lock in and achieve everything you want and become what you’d call successful? Well, to be honest, I don’t fully know yet. But there’s one thing I discovered that has exponentially improved my progress in life, in my work, and in my ability to see real results. It’s quickly helped me realize my potential and has given me what I consider to be a true purpose.
So what was that one thing?
I can’t tell you that yet—you’ll click off the article. I still need my retention, man. But I’ll get there. First, I have to take you back.
The Wake-Up Call

Aug 2nd, 2024. It’s midnight, and I’m watching an old Japanese anime, Rurouni Kenshin. At this point, I’m five months into my YouTube journey—constantly working on videos, posting at least two per month, trying to create something that resonates with thousands, even millions. I edit, color grade, and upload, only to be met with disappointment. No viral hit. No big break. Nothing but effort with no reward.
But I’m not one to give up easily. So I do it again. And again. And again. Still nothing.
And then it hits me.
I realized something while watching the anime and how much it related to the life of a man. You see it was a show about samurais and what stood out to me was every one of the men were all on a journey of growth, getting better, getting stronger, mastering their crafts and they all had absolute faith in their arts or style whatever you may call it.
They cared about nothing if it didn’t improve their chances of reaching their goals. They all had an insane amount of discipline and dedicated their lives to mastering their swords and understanding their opponents.
And that’s when I realized what I was missing.
The Power of Obsession

Obsession is the difference between trying and winning. I was so wrapped up in chasing a viral moment that I forgot why I was doing this in the first place: because I love it. And the only way to actually win in this game? Complete, unapologetic obsession.
That means paying attention to every detail. Spending 30 minutes perfecting one camera angle. Trying a new editing technique every project. Spending an hour color grading a single shot. Spending hours searching for the perfect music. No half-measures. No “good enough.”
Why You Need to Win Now

Look around. The world is changing fast. The possibility of building real wealth is getting slimmer. AI is automating entire industries. Traditional career paths are collapsing. The cost of living is climbing, and opportunities for true financial freedom are shrinking. You can’t afford to coast. You can’t afford to “wait and see.” If you want to win, you have to be obsessed.
And here’s the hard truth: you are in competition. Every single day, someone else is gunning for the spot you want. They’re working harder. They’re staying up later. They’re doing what you’re not willing to do. Success isn’t just about talent—it’s about who is willing to go further.
The Harsh Reality of Success

Winning isn’t comfortable. It’s not supposed to be. The people at the top didn’t get there by accident—they locked in when everyone else was making excuses. They skipped nights out, they worked through weekends, and they sacrificed comfort for progress.
Think about the last thing you obsessed over. A TV show? A game? A hobby? Now imagine if you put that level of energy into your craft, your business, your future. What could you build?
Ask yourself this:
- Is this what you space out thinking about?
- Is this what you dream about?
- Would you skip lunch just to finish a project?
- Are you willing to work through exhaustion when everyone else taps out?
If the answer is no, then lock the f* in.**
Because here’s the thing—nobody is coming to save you. There’s no shortcut. No secret hack. The only way to be great is to outwork everyone else. Period.
The Final Push

After I realized this, I took that newfound obsession and put everything I had into my next video. I locked in. I obsessed over every frame. I treated it like my life depended on it. Then I hit upload.
And that moment? That’s when everything changed.
The question is—are you ready to do the same?
Because the window to win while you’re young is closing. And if you don’t claim your spot now, someone else will.
So, what’s it going to be?
